When can I apply?

CBIS offers rolling admission. Students may apply at any time. There are no semesters.

How do I enroll?

Can I transfer credits from another school?
CBIS accepts credentials from other colleges, institutions, and organizations. They are accepted on a case-by-case basis depending on the credentials and their applicability to the program the student is applying for.
Does CBIS give credit for ministry life experience?

How are the courses delivered?

All course materials and textbooks are emailed to the student in PDF format.

How long does it take to complete a course?
CBIS’s policy is that each student can study at their own pace so how long the course takes depends on the student. Most courses can be completed within 4 weeks if not sooner.
What are the thesis and or dissertation requirements?

Will I have an instructor?
No. Each student is appointed an academic advisor.
Are any of the courses offered online with instructors?
No. CBIS does not offer any online courses with instructors.
How much is tuition?

Are there scholarships available?
No. CBIS does not currently offer any scholarships. However, we offer a 20% scholarship discount if the student pays full tuition when enrolling.
Does CBIS accept financial aid?

No, CBIS does not accept financial aid, nor do we offer any type of financial assistance.

Does CBIS offer discounts to veterans/military?
We provide a 10% tuition scholarship to veterans/military.
Are there any additional fees in addition to tuition?
Yes. Students will have to pay a graduation fee and a fee for the CBIS custom degree frame.
Could I transfer to a secular college or university from CBIS?
Transferring credit from most Bible colleges to secular schools would be difficult, regardless of accreditation status. Because CBIS is not government accredited, it would be very unlikely.
Will other colleges accept my degree?
Possibly. CBIS credits generally transfer to a number of colleges across the nation. However, each course is usually transferred on a course-by-course basis, depending on the program desired. This would be true for all institutions whether accredited or not. Students desiring to transfer their CBIS credits to other institutions are responsible for determining the institution’s requirements and program to which they plan to transfer.
Does CBIS have a physical location?
No CBIS does not have a physical. All classes are conducted online via the Internet.
What denomination is CBIS affiliated with?
CBIS is an interdenominational school and is not connected to any one church.
What can I do with my degree?
CBIS’s degrees have been used in many areas of business, education, counseling, and private enterprise. For example, our Leadership Degrees have been accepted by businesses and corporations. Churches have hired our students with Counseling Degrees to help with their congregational needs, and our graduates have started a private practice in counseling. Also, in special situations, federal and state groups have hired our graduates who are specialists in things like drug addiction or who are knowledgeable in people skills.
