    Certificate in Crisis and Trauma Pastoral Care

    Prerequisites: High School Diploma or Equivalent

    The Certificate in Crisis and Trauma Pastoral Care prepares pastors, chaplains, Christian counselors, ministry leaders, and other caregivers to provide compassionate and biblically grounded support to individuals and families experiencing crisis, trauma, grief, and significant life changes.

    Students will examine the emotional, relational, and spiritual effects of crisis while developing practical skills in pastoral care and Christian counseling. The program also emphasizes confidentiality, ethical boundaries, responsible ministry practices, and recognizing when referral to a licensed professional is appropriate.

    This program is ideal for those serving in pastoral care, chaplaincy, grief support, hospice ministry, correctional ministry, church counseling, community outreach, or any ministry that regularly serves hurting individuals.
