Master of Arts in Christian Spiritual Formation
Prerequisites: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
The Master of Arts in Christian Spiritual Formation degree is designed to deepen students’ understanding of spiritual growth, Christlike character, and the process of being formed into the image of Christ. The program integrates advanced study of spiritual formation, spiritual disciplines, the work of the Holy Spirit, discipleship, Christian character, mentoring, and ministry.
The program equips students to cultivate mature spiritual lives while helping others grow through intentional discipleship, mentoring, leadership, and Christian ministry. Students will explore both the biblical foundations and practical application of spiritual formation as they prepare to encourage spiritual growth and maturity in the local church and other Christian ministry settings.

Each student will be assigned an academic advisor to help him or her throughout this program. Courses are subject to change at the suggestion of the academic advisor.
A total of 39 semester hours is required, with a minimum of 30 semester hours from CBIS. A 2.5 GPA is required on a scale of 4.0. Each course is worth three semester hours.
